Mark Petrucelli, CFVI, CFEI brings extensive forensic and fire investigation expertise to his role at National Forensic Consultants, Inc, having served as a line firefighter from 1992 to 2008, progressed to Fire Investigator from 2008 to 2016, and then to Captain and Head of the Arson Unit from 2016 to 2020.

With that depth of field experience, he leverages his hands-on background and investigative acumen to lead complex fire-origin and cause examinations for insurance carriers and legal clients. Mark combines operational insight from his years in the fire service with NFC’s forensic consulting framework to provide expert oversight and support in high-stakes investigations. His dual perspective—both as a former firefighter and current investigator—enables him to deliver clarity, credibility, and client confidence across every fire cause & origin assignment.
